ABOUT THE LADY AMBASSADORS:
Launched in 2024 with funding awarded through bi-partisan funds directed by U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff, the Lady Ambassadors Program provides training, mentorship and leadership development using the sport of tennis to empower our girls to excel on and off the court.
School Based Programming
Core Value Training is L.E.A.D. Center For Youth’s signature sports mentoring programming.
L.E.A.D.’s Core Value Training (CVT) delivers an innovative blend of proprietary athletic frameworks and evidence-based practices from positive youth development and sports-based youth development.
Through structured, engaging, and mentorship-driven programming, CVT:
Promotes motor skills development to strengthen physical growth and coordination.
Sharpens character and leadership skills by fostering resilience, discipline, and teamwork.
Boosts confidence and self-efficacy in a supportive, sports-based environment.
By uniting athletics with intentional mentorship, CVT empowers young people to thrive both on and off the field—building stronger students, athletes, and community leaders.
National Junior Tennis & Learning Program
L.E.A.D.’s Lady Ambassador Program is an official National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) program under the United States Tennis Association Foundation. Co-founded by tennis legend Arthur Ashe, Charlie Pasarell, Sheridan Snyder, the NJTL network was established to ensure that tennis—and the life skills it teaches—would be accessible to all youth, regardless of background.
As part of this distinguished network, the Lady Ambassadors benefit from:
Access to USTA Foundation resources including specialized training, mentorship, and development opportunities.
Eligibility for grant programs and scholarships that support academic achievement, athletic growth, and leadership development.
A platform for empowerment, using tennis as a vehicle to build confidence, resilience, and community leadership among young women.
Through this program, L.E.A.D. continues its mission to expand opportunities for youth, ensuring they grow as both athletes and leaders.
